Day 1: Introduction to USM

There was no much we can do in the first day in Penang, we just looked around and admired the great of Universiti Sains Malaysia. From the buildings, the cafe, the view, the policy, the students, and so on. Though we stayed at the higher room in Saujana, the name of dormitory for the female students of USM, we had a beautiful view of Penang from 5th floor.

Let's Walk Around...
well actually I don't know much about USM inside. First day being there was just spent by walking around Saujana. Saujana itself takes place next to the Dormitory for the male students of USM, named Restu. Saujana and Restu are about 9th floor buildings with the clean and green park around them. cekidot!

In the both of the Dormitories, there are also some cafes and koperasi, it sells many kinds of foods and drinks for the students' meal. The prices are just like in Jogja, not too expensive but delicious. you just need to pay for about RM 1-3 (RM1=Rp 2.900) and you can also order various meals. though there were many cats there, the cafe was just keep its cleaning and neatness.

well, after having breakfast, we went to attend the seminar of S2 in another place of USM...fyi, USM is kind of university that has many buildings which spread of in any areas, so prepare not to be confused walking around it, moreover with the campus bus! hehe....
